SharePoint 2010 Metro UI solution–now with developer stuff

As many of you know, I dabble a bit in the branding world of SharePoint. Well, actually, I hang out with some people who actually do the branding and help to spread the news about packaging that branding into a SharePoint solution.

Yesterday, Eric Harlan released a branding solution to put a metro interface on SharePoint 2010. His blog post includes the steps for creating the files via SharePoint Designer and deploying them via the browser. So, I butt in to help out. :)

Today, the SharePoint 2010 Metro UI project on CodePlex was updated to include the Visual Studio solution to create a sandbox solution containing the branding artifacts. If you plan to use this master/css/images files in a production environment, be sure to use the SharePoint sandbox solution to deploy.
